A fascinating time-slip story between a boy in boarding school in 1993 and a nurse in an asylum in 1903. There are gothic aspects in the story- lost souls and restless ghosts, and the characters are cleverly wound and intertwined to create a very enjoyable story. Both narrators suit the story, and add to it.
