'I want someone to look at me like you are right now for every day of the rest of my life.'
I adored the developing relationship in this book so much, the travel together and forced Proximity was perfection. Ren & Zoey just fit together beautifully and I enjoyed seeing them get to know one another. How charmed they're by each other as find home and a future together.
The car journeys, discussion on their pasts and family connections in different ways. How both have their own hurt still processing and finding comfort together. The sass, teasing between them and protective instincts towards each other.
It was all the little details building over their journey, the chocolate, cuddling, clothing and games. First kisses and discovery for them both as their chemistry grows, when the spice hits its all of the heat.
Some great action scenes and povs from the enemy, the way these two try to look out for and support one another in their own ways. I simply enjoyed every moment of Zoey & Rens adventure together.
I do wish we had got to the planet earlier or there were more to explore further. As felt like a rush to the finish in last few chapters, although fitting to the pacing and was inevitable be caught up too.
Still it has a lovely happy ending and glimpse of their future together ✨
