Mentally ill teens in the UK are summoned to a new, isolated wellness facility and dystopia happens. The protagonist, Sebastian, is timid enough that at the end of the book he is selected for the eugenics project despite being gay , and the crush with whom he's been trying to escape joins him as part of a new underclass .
I was interested enough in the weaponized wellness story and liked Seb's point-of-view and relationship with Finn, but was confused by the lack of hardy surveillance in this otherwise creepy white facility. I'd also like more information on all of the Overalls and why they are agreeing to the work they've been assigned. Seems like a lot of holes that neither Finn nor Seb question despite the horror of their situation. Still very readable and I am interested in the sequel.
