Man this was long. I was a little nervous to take this book on because of the length, but I'm really glad I did. And I'm actually looking forward to the next one even though it's longer. I enjoyed this book more than I did the last one. One of my ongoing gripes is with Shallan in general. She's such a weak annoying character, and I always struggle with her, but she wasn't so bad in this one. Much more tollerable. This book had all the action and story and twists and tension as the other three, but this book also dealth a lot more with mental health than the others, and I think Sanderson handled it well. I enjoyed getting to know the characters even better. Venli's storyline was particularly interesting. I may have also cried at certain losses. Overall this book was just really well done and well written.
