I did not expect this book to devastate me the way it did. It was beautifully done & strangely poetic. The ugliness of grief and holding on to something that is simply falling apart, the idea of the way that things were before.
I wish we had gotten to know more about the mystery with the Centre and the reason they were sent on the research mission, as well as WHAT was actually down there and what truly happened to Leah and perhaps Mateo, but I still think it was done nicely and enjoyed it.
