This book is... unexpectedly amazing! Is it going to win a Pulitzer? No. Is the writing poetic and deep? Also, no.
This book is unique and so, so fun. Funny and intriguing. Twisted, gritty, and surprising. I laughed my way through it, and I was never disappointed with the plot twists. It was such a fun journey, and I enjoyed every minute (and I'm a pretty tough critic of the romantasy genre). The audio narration was also a 10/10.
I can't wait until book two.
