This book is pretty middle of the road for me. It kept me interested and I’m going to continue the trilogy, but there were definitely some aspects that I feel could’ve been better.
My biggest issue is the over the top “mean girls” the book is filled with and the one friend who just isn’t like the rest of them. You know exactly what I’m talking about if you’re a smut reader, so I won’t elaborate.
Candy is super fun though. She’s a straight up bitch and I’m here for it. So far, West is my favorite out of the guys. Zander isn’t so bad either and I see lots of spicy potential with the two of them. I do love a good slow burn and I’m hoping it’s explosive asf when the spice comes. I don’t really care for Red or the storyline between them. I love the premise but the execution and chemistry between them fell flat for me, but I’m remaining hopeful.
Overall, a solid middle of the road read. Let’s see where this goes!
