The Colour Of Magic by Terry Pratchett

3.0

I had previously read the "Moist Von Lipwig" books by Terry Pratchett and Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and enjoyed Pratchett's sarcasm. His humor closely resembles that of Monty Python, so I was excited to read The Colour of Magic. The chapters in this book feel like a collection of short stories. I was rather enjoying the book through the first section of the book, but if I'm being honest, started to feel more and more fatigued with each passing section. I don't know why I started feeling bored by the story, since I still found the humor consistently entertaining, but the story itself just started to weigh me down. Overall, I don't regret reading The Colour of Magic, but probably wouldn't go back for a second read-through any time soon.
