Tessa has find it again - it was refreshing to read about a strong female character growing up as an athlete and the mindset that can come with it. I appreciated the balance between Skylar wanting to be strong mentally and physical while also navigating wanting to lean into her more “beautiful/girly” side. Robbie allowing her the space to grow into both warmed my heart.
