I’ve never read a tête-bêche novel before but this was honestly remarkable. It was a delicious experience to have everything you thought after reading the first fall apart while reading the second. An incredible and delicate balance was struck to unwind that mystery and to pull all those threads together. Scintillating testament to writing as not just an art but a craft
