Archer's Voice
by Mia Sheridan
What I loved about Archer’s voice was Archer. I loved his character. He was innocent and naive in many ways and in others he had more experience than any one should ever have in the areas of loss and tragedy. I loved that he was still a gentle soul after everything he had experienced.
I also thought Bree’s character was a beautiful soul. The way Sheridan wrote two characters who had their tragedy in common yet their experiences were polar opposites made an interesting couple. It felt realistic.
I was able to see where the story was headed and figured Bree would meet her father’s murderer again. I was confused when it said Archer “was gone” but he ended up being in a coma? It sounded as though he died. I cried my eyes out. I was relieved he was in a coma but to be honest, I’m torn between thinking to book would have been even better had Archer died but I also loved the happy ending. Bree and Archer deserved it.
