Eyes to See by Bret Lott

4.0

My favorites from this short story collection were "What Men Live By," by Tolstoy, "The Story of the Other Wise Man," by Henry Van Dyke, "A Father's Story," by Andre Dubus, "The Blue Cross," by Chesterton, and "Silent Passengers," by Larry Woiwode.

There's also a great introduction about the value of literature by the editor, Brett Lott, and a short bio of each author highlighting their significance to the field of short story writing that precludes each story.
