I'm gonna be honest, this book left much to be desired. The twist was certainly a twist, but I feel a rather predictable twist. Plus the climax where the "evil plot" is explained is very stereotypical. Especially since both of their deaths happened within moments by Ms. Watson, who apparently gained super strength after being incredibly weak.
I give the book a 2 star instead of a 1, simply because the begining was very interesting. That being said however, I never felt like this was a confusing or thrilling mystery. While it ended up not being the suspects I had in mind, the actual person who kidnapped Evie seemed incredibly underdeveloped with very stereotypical motives.
