Accidentally His by Sabrina Jeffries

3.0

Happy launch day!

This was light fare as usual, but the story was a bit convoluted with multiple villains and family secrets and this hero was a pretty terrible spy. She had him pegged in chapter two and then he kept revealing himself and making dumb decisions. If this had been a spy comedy and Jeffries had leaned into the humour, this may have worked. It did have funny moments, some sweet moments and a fast pace, but the smut was awkward (not in a good way) with the curious virgin trope that Jeffries relies on for every single book, but the template didn’t work well for me this time.
Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
