As someone who rarely reads classics, this was refreshing and exciting and beautiful. I love the very personal and stream-of-consciousness narration, which makes the universality of the narrator's anxieties very clear. 

Also really fun to see little phrases that I'd assumed were modern paired with outdated things like to-day with a dash.
