The pacing in the beginning was really slow, and I found the Sumner family dynamic to be weird/off-putting. I wasn’t invested in the characters or storyline until the second act when we’re introduced to Molly. From there, I thought the character development was strong. I liked how the book was structured too and how we were able to read multiple POVs. Not my favorite, but I’d recommend for a classic science fiction read.
