3.5 - My fourth read from the Forward Collection. Interesting and not-unrealistic plot for the probable near future about nature vs nurture and genetic engineering. I can see what the author was trying to do with the chapters, but the last bit of the story left way too many unanswered questions for me, and brought up seemingly random (though super intriguing) ideas that never came to fruition.
