I kind of hated what happened to Shane in the last quarter of this book and wanted to rage and throw my Kobo across the room. But everything turned out for the best. I knew I could trust T. kingfisher. However, in case it’s not clear, this wasn’t quite the smart, funny, hijinks with hot romance type of book that I was expecting. 
I will definitely read the next one, of course!
