I love love LOVE this book. This is exactly the witch story I have always dreamed of, and I fear no other witchy novel will ever be able to compare.
The imagery, the tone, the folklore, the symbolism.... I ate it all up, and Im still begging for more.
This novel was beautiful. I have never seen a better depiction of feminine rage... of being pushed so far, you crack and then basking in the ruin of your enemies. They all had it coming, and I loved seeing Abitha and Samson punish them for the way they treated her.
11/10 stars. I will be reading more Brom novels this year.
