When I say this book is AH-mazing I really really mean it. I could gush about this book forever and still not adequately explain why it is so good. Just please trust me when I say you HAVE to read this book, even if you think monster romance isn’t your thing. It is quite possibly one of my favorite reads for the year. I stayed up WAY past my bed time (worth it) and was legit crying finishing this and I have zero regrets. 
Fionamara is a “baffle them with bullshit” type FMC who covers up her insecurities and regrets with swagger. She’s a little morally grey and I absolutely adore her. Antal is broody yet a big softy. He’s as finicky as a cat and sexy as sin. Don’t ask me how it works, it just does. Together they’re a ragtag underdog team with a lot of heart and determination. Their banter is next level good and the tension is 🔥 
This story had me pulled in from the prologue through the epilogue and I cannot wait for more in this world. I was already a fan of SA MacLean’s writing after The Phoenix Keeper, but Voidwalker has definitely solidified her as an auto buy author for me.
