The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle
5.0

This was the best book in the Sherlock Holmes series so far.
The whole story was really fascinating. Something I really loved was how John Watson did a lot of the investigation on his own and he was really smart and fearless.
Spoiler Also the discovery near the end about the Stapletons being a couple w something I didn't expect at all. The part where Sherlock and Watson thought Sir Henry had died was described amazingly and it was a huge shock to me, but then I read that it's Selden and I was relieved (for Sir Henry, but poor Selden). Lastly, I think that Stapleton was a really intelligent and cunning criminal.
