Omega by Jasinda Wilder

Why did I take so long to pick this book up?!?!? Honestly Alpha and Beta were amazing and I should have expected nothing less from Omega. In this installment we pick up right where Roth and Kyrie picked up on a yacht in the middle of nowhere. They are still on the run from Vitaly but they've been joined by Layla (Kyrie's best friend) for the first half of the book it's about the relationship these characters have under such stressful circumstances but just as things seem to be settling down a little all hell breaks loose and Layla is kidnapped from their little island paradise. And THAT is where things get very interesting. Vitaly brings Layla to him as a way to lure Kyrie out of hiding so they torture her. However he definitely underestimates Layla. Through a series of events that literally left me cringing on the edge of my seat she escapes and is rescued by Harris (Roth's head of security) As the two make their way back to safety they have to battle not only the bad guys killers and thugs after them but also the mounting attraction between them. I could not get enough of this book. The story was compelling and sexy with more than a little bit of danger. Layla's tough exterior and Harris's hidden inner tenderness makes them a joy to watch unfold. 5 well deserved stars for Jasinda Wilder and Omega.
