I don't even know how to begin to review this one. I loved it for so many reasons. Charlie is down after her break up with her cheating ex boyfriend, Beau, and life is kind of just going on until she meets Emerson....who is Beau's dad. Yep. That's right.
Emerson exudes confidence, and is quite possibly the hottest man Charlie has ever met. Why on earth does he have to be her ex's dad?!?!
After some awkward first encounters, she ends up working as his secretary for his new business, the Salacious Players Club. Before she knows it, she's driven down the rabbit hole of information and decides that she very much wants to be a part of his world.
Fighting their attraction, Charlie and Emerson aren't fooling anyone but themselves. Of course, when they're accidentally discovered everything falls apart. How on earth can they ever go back to what they had?
This book is immediately one of my favorites. This is actually my second time through, which is rare for me. It's sweet, sexy, and all kinds of passionate.
