Racked with guilt over her cousin's sailing accident, Annie embarks on a healing journey to rekindle her love of the sea. Along the way she meets mysterious men, including Ramone, a Spanish matador, and El Amir, a Moroccan businessman, who offer her unforgettable experiences, and who seem to constantly cross her path despite her last minute travel plans.
