david mogo, godhunter is such an entertaining read. from the characters to relationship dynamics to the lore and mythology, this book kept me hooked and interested.

i found it initially confusing when it seemed like the book was nearing an end after apparently facing the big bad, then realized this was a story told in three specific parts/sections, and reoriented myself. the format of the plot was very fun and kept the pace up, so that it didn’t feel like i was dragging as i read. i especially found myself consuming this book as more of the lore and information regarding the gods started coming into play, which i think was my favorite part of this book.

david mogo, godhunter tells a wonderful, invigorating tale of a demigod working as a godhunter in lagos, nigeria after the gods fall to the earth. this book weaves a complex, heartfelt story of finding your family, accepting yourself, and doing what it takes to not only embrace who you are but defend the ones you love. i also really enjoyed the surprise queer relationship!!
