I’ve literally read 100 different romance books and The Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert = the best romance books I’ve ever read. I fucking love these books and there are a million reasons to love them.

1. SO MUCH REPRESENTATION. Literally, there’s representation for everything. LGBTQ+, interracial couples, plus-size body types, neurodivergency, disability. It’s all there and it’s so freaking amazing. This is the first time I’ve read something with so much representation. 2. The sex. I expected these books to be plain because they’re marketed to the general public but they are actually relatively spicy.  3. I was hesitant to start these books because, based on the premises, I thought they were going to be predictable and follow common tropes. They didn’t. 4. The love interests were so sweet and thoughtful. Some of the best I've ever read, but they're real and all have their own baggage. This brings me to 5. This book doesn't romanticize toxicity and its effects. The characters work through their issues in a healthy way. They draw clear boundaries and hold themselves accountable. A major theme in this series is the main characters learning their self-worth. They heal and they love themselves and because of that healing and self-love, they can love each other.
