Finlay Donovan Is Killing It
by Elle Cosimano
This mystery was a really enjoyable read.
Struggling novelist, Finlay Donovan, gets mistaken for a hit woman by a fellow Panera customer after overhearing a discussion with her agent regarding her upcoming murder mystery novel. After the customer offers Finlay $50k to “handle” someone, her curiosity about the target sets off a string of events which land her in some unfortunate circumstances.
If you enjoyed Dial A for Aunties, but we’re ultimately unsatisfied with the ridiculousness of the wrap-up/resolution, you might want to check out this book. While there are no overbearing, well-meaning aunties, the supporting characters can be equally as entertaining.
I look forwarding to see what kind of trouble Finaly gets into in her next book, Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead.
