A whimsy, somewhat despondent, absurdist book about how define ourselves around a job or lack thereof.
I need to honestly reread this book already because it is littered with metaphors and allegories that I want to analyze. Additionally, I’ll read a page and the author just slaps you with a beautifully poignant line. It’s great.
The main character, nameless, is in a constant state of being temporary. She goes job to job, searching for the right one for her. She goes through a variety, from being a chairman, a pirate, an assassin’s assistant, and more.
Honestly, read the book. It’s fun time.
