50 World Changing Events in Christian History by Earl M. Blackburn

4.0

Decent overview of Christian history, written at an introductory level. Catholics may find the book less helpful as it focuses almost primarily on Protestant or pre-Protestant history beginning at the year 1000 AD (so, for example, it contains a whole chapter on the Waldensians, but nothing on Aquinas). Most of the material was review for me, but there were a couple things I learned that I hadn't been as familiar with beforehand. Would be great to use for a high school/late middle school introductory course, or for the adult beginner.

Rating: 3.5-4 Stars (Good).
