Stella Bloom has always dreamed of owning her own little perfect slice of Christmas, her own Christmas Tree Farm. However, in that dream she never imagined being deeply in debt, struggling to get by while dealing with what seems like sabotage from an unknown source. When she hears about a social media influencers competition to highlight small businesses and provide the winners with funds she desperately needs she knows she has to shoot her shot.
The problem in the host tends to go for cute romantic stories and she is single. So she hatches a plan to get her best friend to fake date her long enough to win the contest. It shouldn’t matter that she’s had feelings for him as long as she can remember, right?
Okay this was a super cute holiday romance and was just the thing to put me in the Christmas Spirit. I absolutely adored Luka and his penchant for giving her little pine scented Christmas trees. With how much chemistry they had I can’t believe they stayed friends for as long as they did especially with how obvious they were that the entire town was not only not surprised but betting for when this would happen.
If you like friends-to-lovers, fake dating, small town, holiday romances that are feel good with a hint of mystery thrown in then you’ll love this one. I cannot wait to read about Stella’s business partners next!
