I really disliked Cam and came to dislike Dr. L. I wondered why Jackson didn't ask Denise for help with his portfolio.
Jasmine was unpleasant in that it seemed she demanded so much support from Jackson, and she did was give him rides to school in return. Liam was great as was Bowie. I thought Bowie was better family to Jackson than his birth family.
I thought the deaf rep was good, in that Jackson had to deal with the energy it took to read lips or use his hearing aids focusing on one speaker from all of the voices around him. I am not deaf, so others may find problems with the representation.
Brandon grew on me, Dude. Chayanne seemed to never be around when work needed to be done, so Bowie and Jackson ended up setting up, cleaning up, interacting with the venue and caterers. I'm glad they had each other for support.
I enjoyed listening to the book, though I don't know that I'll listen to this again.
