I love this series so much, Kianthe and Reina have my heart and mind. Their relationship is so strong from the very first book and it continues to flourish, whilst still holding the relatable real life relationship. I’m so glad we get to see them plan a wedding and a coup at the same time.
The writing is so easy to read and I love all the puns no matter how small or silly they are.
We get to meet so many new characters in this book, whilst learning more about the previous characters and their interactions with the new ones. I really want a baby dragon called pill bug, because he’s so cute and loyal. This book really highlights family and friend relationships and how over time they may drift apart, only to come back together and reunite.
I love the balance between mundane and cosy tasks and the bigger more action packed ones, it really keeps you on your toes wondering what each chapter may have.
The story continues to grow and it’s always moving whilst still having the cosy feel from the first. I was not expecting that twist to the coup nor was I expecting that ending!
I need the fourth book asap!
