A crew of space workers are wrapping up their job when they pick up a distress signal. Claire, leader of said crew, is days away from being unemployed and makes the call to answer the distress signal. What they find is the Aurora, a long lost luxury liner that’s been missing for more than 20 years. Bringing this ship in could set the crew up for life. When they go to investigate they quickly see not all is right. Will they make it off this ghost ship?

Dead Silence will hook you from the start. It’s action packed and the plot moves fairly quickly. Character development was great. The horror was spooky, bloody and exactly what you’d want it to be. As the book blurb says, think Titanic meets The Shining.

Unfortunately sci-fi is a hard genre for me because I just can’t picture anything. When the line came up about not knowing which end was down, I felt myself float a bit out of my own body🤣.

Overall, this was a case of me vs the book itself and I think you should definitely pick it up, 3.5✨.

Thank you @tornightfire for a copy of the advanced copy! Forever happy this imprint exists, we need more horror!!
