Rock Hard by Nalini Singh

5.0

I received a copy of this book from Net Galley for my honest review.

Honestly I was blown away by the writing in this book. Nalini Singh made the characters so believable and real I was rooting the whole time for Mr. Bishop.

Ms.Baird is a very shy, scared young woman. She is overcoming such a traumatic past that she doesn't even trust her own shadow without having a panic attack. She fights through the daily struggles of just interacting at work. Mr. Bishop comes in to clean house in her company and set it up for success. She accidentally runs into him one night after work and he invites her out to supper to pick her brain. She of course is terrified through this whole ordeal. Mr. Bishop see's that she is scared so of course being the great alpha he is wants to help her through it. Needless to say without spoiling it they work together a lot.

This book does skip months at some points it will say two months later which makes sense because he is trying to take it so slow with her so she trusts him enough to let him in. Once you hear her story you understand why she is so scared. Its so wonderful how patient he is, for once I enjoyed the male character much more than the female.

Fantastic book! highly recommend!
