Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter
Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.
After months of trying to finish this one, I decided to dnf it.
The plot along with the writing is a bit too childish for my taste, while the whole thing gives “a boomer who is trying to be relatable by doing millennial jokes”.
The story is predictable and full of clichés, while the MC has one of the worst cases of pick-me-girl I’ve ever seen.
Utterly annoying, incredibly intolerable, wouldn’t recommend.
