The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
To say that this book moved me, is an understatement.
For the first 50-60% of the book, I couldn't figure out what it was that made me keep on picking it up and reading. I loved it, but I couldn't figure out why.
Now, after finishing the book, I get it.
These characters were beautifully written, beautifully executed and I fell in love with them, just as Evelyn Hugo did herself. I felt like I new each and everyone of them, individually, as real people and not like characters in a fictional story.
THAT is how incredible Taylor Jenkins Reid is.
I admired the narrator, I adored the lovers and most of all, I wanted to be in love with Evelyn Hugo.
I cannot even start to explain the emotions I feel after finishing this book.
I can, however, reveal my need to pick it up again and re-read it immediately.
I will definitely be reading more from Taylor Jenkins Reid - as will you as soon as you find yourself falling in love, just as I did.
This was heartwarmingly brilliant.
