Not the power of friendship saving the day.

Okay thoughts: I want more books. I miss seeing in Magnus & Co. IMO they're the only Rick Riordan group that feels like an actual family. The Seven canNOT relate those are COWORKERS.

Magnus is baby boy. Like he's up there behind Percy as my favorite Riordan protagonist of all time. He's probably even above Annabeth when it comes to narration. BRING HIM BACK TO ME.

Hearth&Blitz are a modern day Dan&Phil. Gay bestie icons. S/o Hearth for defeating his evil dragon dad. Blitz kinda got shafted this book though he didn't do a whole lot.

Alex gives Magnus NO chances to breathe i love it.

Samirah is probably my least favorite of the trio but I like her little mini arc about learning how to not let herself be controlled by Loki, even though I think they could have done a little more with it.

I'm happy all the side characters of Floor 19 got to come along on the quest too and we fleshed them out a bit more. Special place in my heart for Halfborn. He's delightful.

Can't forget Jack. I hope he gets his second date with Riptide. Rooting for them.
