I liked the book, it’s definitely a page turner, but it’s really just junk food. Everything in this book comes too easy and there’s no tension. They could have actually had close calls with being caught. Instead, it’s just checking to make sure the coast is clear and it always is. There could have been consequences for breaking social norms (whether we agree with them or not), instead, everyone is pretty supportive save for some minor pushback. At the climax, when the thing that the book has been working its way to for 300 pages comes, the fallout has already been dealt with in the background. Good for sapphic erotica, but there was more potential for a story here.
