This is The Avengers equivalent of the SJM universe. It’s so rewarding and exciting to finally have most of the characters we’ve been introduced to in one place with a united cause.
I’m currently completing the tandem read, which I am IMMENSELY glad I did. For anyone on the fence, TOD has a lot of very important lore but Chaol is a book behind in terms of character development, so TOD is SJM’s way of catching him up with everyone else. The pacing and tone is very different from EOS and I think reading them together creates a nice balance.
Loved this book. I laughed, I cried, I raged, and I can’t wait to read the final book in this fantastic series.
