“I’m being distracted, by a duchess in denims.” 

This book was such a light hearted read for me honestly. Their romance was so sweet, and wholesome. Just a slow, sweet, comforting read honestly. One thing you can always count on Beverly though, is that one character will always get kidnapped by the end of her books lmao. 

I particularly enjoyed the history in this one, especially the inclusion of racism that existed in the women’s suffrage movement. Beverly ALWAYS fills her books with real historical events and facts and I just adore it.
