Good and educational, but not quite great
This book is very helpful from the point of view of giving us a fresh perspective on history and where history is heading. It appears to be well researched and while there are few (if any) footnotes, there are extensive notes at the back of the book with lots of additional resources to read. My main complaint is that it dragged a little at times. I also wondered if the authors were a little too tied to their thesis in some of their speculation. I guess time will tell.
If all you know is linear history, this presents a refreshing alternate that is empirically verifiable, and sensible.
