Goddess with a Blade by Lauren Dane
Did not finish book.
I don't mind Mary-Jane types stories when they're done well, but this was... just... too awful to continue to read.
I was interested in the world building and the lore, despite the fact the whole goddess thing made it seem like her shit don't smell.
But I had to stop when they couldn't keep their hands off each other, did the deed, and she stormed off. This happened 25% of the way through - a bit too early for me to establish proper chemistry between the two for it to even remotely interesting. Also, this is probably going to be a sore point between the two, in which she'll hold it over his head, right? Ugh.
