The Cruel Dark by Bea Northwick

the last half of the book felt so different from the beginning and while i understand why that is, it just felt so out of place. as soon as the main characters started having sex Callum moved the relationship at a speedy pace. Millie was still trying to understand what was going on the mansion and her mind. (somewhat) putting pieces together, and Callum just needed to reining in a bit

it’s weird tho that Millie remembered who she was after being told even tho she stopped taking the tea that was poisoning her. Felicity also didn’t have to give her that tea and had just lied to her brother that she did.

that fact that no one tried to help her gained her memories back was also weird and instead they were distant and almost rude to her. she was thrown into a place where she started to feel unsafe no one did anything.

now that i think about a lot of things didn’t make
sense, and ultimately don’t understand the whole point here
