3.5 stars rounded up. I loved parts of this book and in the end had to crash through the last 40 or so pages. But overall it’s hard to describe how I feel about it. The end was hard for me to take and it didn’t grab me overall until the end. But it was a good read. I think my issue is it *should* have been a quick read but just wasn’t. I wasn’t drawn to pick it up to find out what was happening next. Great idea but just not quite fleshed out enough to get lost in, maybe? But if you do read it, be sure to read the author’s personal note at the end. Incredibly important.
