“You’re not the villain in my story.”
“I am,” he says without remorse, his sharp jaw tight with tension. “But I’ll be the villain for you. Not to you.”

OH MY GOD! I loved every single second of this book!

It made me laugh, swoon, cry, angry beyond measure but most of all it made me so fricken proud. I’m so proud of Auren and everything she accomplished. I’m proud of where she stands and how she got there.

RIP was so damn cute and adorable. The way he dotes on Auren. The way he notices her eyes on him before even looking at her. His unwavering loyalty and support. Also his respect for her was the bare minimum but him being one of the first to give that to her was freeing. It was like seeing her finally getting pieces of herself back and learning that the way she’d been treated wasn’t close to what she deserved. She didn’t need him to ground her but he was still there to steady her if she needed it.

I’m in love with this world and I just cannot wait to pick the last book. I don’t even know how I waited these three days to finish the book but I just knew shit was about to go down in the last 20%. And I was right! My emotions were everywhere.
