This was ... okay.... lots of drama, which is interesting, but I didn't like or even relate to ANY of these characters. I've read plenty of books of this style by Ashley and Jaquavis, Vicki Stringer, and T. N Baker and although I don't reside around this lifestyle,.. anymore... lol... all these author's characters' had a mind-state that I could understand. There was rational in at least 2 or more characters when making decisions, even if they were bad decision; these character's had a reason for making them, and I could agree with them in a way, based on the circumstances. Yet, all the characters in this Hood Rat book, were, in my honest opinion, so stupid.. Their logic was irrational and their actions were never thought out. I read this book because I love his Animal series. Maybe I'll try another read and give this author another try.... maybe not... who knows. I need some sci-fi in my life right now.
