This! This is everything I was hoping and wishing that the first book would be been! Finally, we get to witness Celaena's assassin skills in action through stealth, fighting, and notoriety. This book threw in a couple of twists that also helped make it a genuinely quick read despite it being over 400 pages.

I sincerely hope the rest of the series keeps up this way!
