This book is loosely a retelling of beauty and the beast. Briar is in an abusive relationship with her husband, so she makes a deal with a demon. The deal has her being auctioned off to creatures from other realms. She is now in a contract to live with a dragonoid for 7 years. But she ends up falling for him more than she intents. They two have sex and role play. My only problem is that they do not have a conversation about their sex before hand. This is part of the plot of miscommunication.
