Beginning was impressive -abduction of a family of 3 by perpetrators unknown, leading to many secrets tumbling out and bonds being formed and broken. But the latter half was unable to maintain the tempo and credibility. Still I enjoyed this book which was told by an omnipresent 3rd person narrating the detective part which altered with 1st person narrative of the kidnapped wife.
