I forgot I’ve read this book before. It was better this time, I’m not quite sure why. But I’d give it three stars instead of the one I gave it before. 

A long book but just enough adventure and fluff and spice to keep me interested. Although there is a rape in this book which I really struggled to read and mostly skipped. I wish Gabaldon wouldn’t use rape so often in her books.
